Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Mattie! I’m an approximately 2 year old, female. My paperwork says Pit Mix but my foster dad thinks there might be some Rhodesian Ridgeback in my mix and my foster mom said maybe some Greyhound because of my beautiful long legs. I am currently 50 lbs and need to gain about 10 lbs to fill out a bit. You might also notice some scratches on my nose. I was in a Boston shelter for two months, the people who were there are amazing but it is hard to get a good nights sleep with all of that noise. I started to get very stressed. Then on the first day of November this guy from Kitty Connection came with his three kids to pick me up. I was very nervous and didn’t make a noise, they brought me home and let me lay in front of the fire place and they put a coat on me to go out, I get to sleep in the quiet, snuggled up under a blanket or with these people who love me (even though they just met me)! It was worth the wait!
I am currently in a home with two other dogs, two cats and three kids under 5, I am adjusting so well! I have a medium energy level and I am currently getting walked about 2 miles a day. You should see me on a leash. When I get to a corner I sit down, I know how to heel and you will always have a loose leash when you walk me. My manners are impeccable! I can sit, stay and shake hands/paws on command. I do not enter a room unless I am invited. I do not chew or bark. I am crate and potty trained.
I know what you are thinking…she sounds too good to be true! Why would anyone give her up? I wondered that as I laid in a kennel for 63 nights. But my foster mom says never again! I am up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative and micro chipped. Let’s meet, go for a walk and see if we could be a match.
