Amelia's Info...

Amelia's Story...
I am Misfit Amelia and I am a very friendly 6 year old Sheltie mix. I am a very laid back loving girl. I get along with kids ,cats and dogs. I had a broken paw at one point and it was allowed to heal that way so I do favor that paw a bit but I do still enjoy a short 15 to 20 minute walk. I am also a little over weight at this point but I am on a diet and working on it. I also love to cuddle, snuggle and have my belly rubbed. If you let Amelia into your heart she will become your loyal devoted companion for life. You can fill out an online application for her at www.misfitangelsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Eastpointe Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Eastpointe, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog dog from a breeder in Eastpointe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eastpointe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eastpointe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eastpointe paves the way for another one to be saved.
