Facts about Marble

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Aptly named Marble for her remarkable coat of marble colors, this sweet but timid torti is pale-eyed, plump and oh-so-pretty. Having known love before, she wants nothing more than to know it and show it again. Comfortable in the company of other cats, she loves playing with them and is the ultimate player of kitty cat games. As for children and dogs? They are currently a question mark. Although it may take her awhile to get used to the home she’s been hoping for, with gentle patience, marvelous Marble will make some lucky someone the most loving and contented of companions.

Our shelter is a no cage, no kill sanctuary. Most of the cats in our care here because they was no other alternative and for many it was their last hope. All of our cats receive love, affection and attention everyday. Every volunteer we have spends personal time with each and every one of them so we can tell you in detail all about their personality when you come to adopt. The more we can adopt out the more we can go out and rescue.

About Feline Urgent Rescue of Western North Carolina

About Our Rescue Group...

As guardians of displaced felines, our mission is to provide a safe haven for cats, thereby reducing the homeless population, the shelter euthanasia rates, and by filling a gap in the rescue community as a last resort sanctuary.

Our group consists solely of volunteers who share the passion for helping homeless cats to find loving homes, providing compassionate care to unadoptable cats, and assisting feral colonies and their caretakers with food, shelter and medical needs.

Our Adoption Process...

Please call or email us to schedule an appointment to meet or adopt a kitty you see on our adoption list. Because we are an all-volunteer crew, we're sorry, but walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Applications can be found on our website, if you want to fill one out before you arrive. The adoption fee is $35 per cat, and all collected fees are spent on rescuing, caring for and re-homing community cats.
