My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Norma Jean, the coolest, cutest little mix of two amazing breeds. “NJ” might be pint sized (she weighs 15lbs) but that’s the only thing “pinty” about her! She is big on personality, charm, energy and she’s totally full of fun! The best of both her breeds- Norma is a great mix of smarts and merriness. She is just a year old and super playful, Norma would love a family with another dog. If not- you’d better have plans for doggie day care or parks! She is all about the “play” and will be great company for her new pack. Norma is super socialized, very loving and affectionate. She enjoys her people time as much as her doggie time! She has energy galore, but settles nicely in the house. She is crate trained and house trained. Just because she is small- doesn’t mean she can’t be your exercise partner too! Norma is looking for an active family that wants a mid-sized pup with large size energy and tons of smarts! Norma Jean knows her basic commands, walks well on the leash and is very light on her feet. She is well suited to many types of homes and is alert and even tempered. She will play with the big guys or the littles-or the puppies- she’s not picky! She has a gentle disposition, but has been known to let out a warning bark. Miss Norma Jean was rescued out of a high kill Gordon County shelter in north Georgia mountains by her foster mom Tracy. She’s the life of the party at her foster home and keeps everyone entertained. She’d love it if you introduced her to dog games or agility and she can learn your tricks quickly too! Norma Jean – like her namesake- is a real “looker! She has long legs, regal ears and a nice low-shed coat. She is low-maintenance and low-barking and will make an ideal companion for her new parents and doggie siblings. Norma has no problems the cats in the household…sometimes wanting to play with them too?! She is independent, instinctive and self- assured. She has no food or toy or other aggressions nor is she timid! Norma is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and will be headed out of the south on Dec 2nd. Her arrival in the Seattle are on Dec 6th will be your best day ever and a cause for celebration! You can adopt her for $400 and an online application at www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab). Any more questions on this amazing small in size but big in heart and character- email Pam at www.raincityrescue@gmail.com
