Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Talk about a long strange trip! It began in the Utah desert. I was skinny and sick, my hair was falling out and I itched all over. I was pitiful and felt ashamed. No one would want an ugly dog like me. But someone came and saw past all that. She wrapped her arms around me. She called me 'beautiful' and a "really good dog"! I couldn't believe my tattered ears! But one week later, they were packing up. I should've seen it coming really. I wouldn't blame them for leaving me. But ... wait! They are calling me! "Snickers! Let's go!" So, picture me, ME!!!, on a private plane headed here to become a Furkids dog! Now my belly is full. I barely itch at all. People hug me! They say I have Demodex Mange, a parasitic skin disease caused by microscopic mites that live in the hair follicles. It's not contagious or dangerous, but it is easily cured. Every day I'm feeling and looking better. Turns out I'm not ugly after all! My hair is growing back! I'm putting on weight and am expected to reach about 40 lbs. I have great manners. I am crate trained and housebroken. I am eager to please and grateful for a second chance. I am gentle as can be but playful and energetic too! I feel great! I don't dart out of doors, either. I know a good thing when I find it. I'm not going anywhere except home with you! My journey has just begun. Come share it with me!
