Sassy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sassy's Story...
Meet Sassy! She's a 7 year old beagle and is looking for a new home. Sassy was surrendered to the shelter because her owner recently passed away, and none of his family could care for her. So now she's at the shelter in search of a loving new home.

Sassy would do well in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. She absolutely LOVES attention. Before she's adopted she will be up to date on shots, spayed, and will have a microchip. Now all she's waiting for is her new forever family to come for her. Could that be YOU??

The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Youngwood Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
