My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I am an one year old male. I have a fabulous curly tail and a very soft, luscious coat. And, I’m housebroken!
I’d be a great watchdog as my hearing is super good - just look at my ears - and my bark sounds like a big dog bark, woof!

I’m super high energy and would love to live with a family that is active or has another active doggie for me to play with. I’d be great for activities, jogging and even agility training - I already know “Sit”.

Tommy is used to living in a house so we're not sure how he would do in an apartment. However, he does love people more than other dogs so we think he would be fine as an only dog. Our biggest concern is his energy and need for attention. He is very active and without other dogs he will look to humans to fill that void. He has the personality and intelligence of a Jack Russell terrier! His adopters will need to take him to obedience class as he will benefit from the attention. As most dog trainers will tell you, it's people who need training to learn how to handle him and give him the stimulation he needs to transition into a new home successfully! He is unbelievably smart. He is NOT a lap dog but will cuddle. He would be great at agility. He gets along with other people, kids and dogs. It's really just youthful exuberance that would be his downfall if not channeled properly. Not a dog that can be left for hours - he will figure out something to occupy his time.
