Searching for the owner of my heart…

This pretty and petite young girl was rescued by a new resident in military housing.

Vanilla is a gentle and quiet cat. She's initially shy with people, but it's easy to bribe her with treats. Vanilla seems to find comfort in hanging out with Squint and he acts like a good big feline brother to her, helping her grow her trust and confidence daily.

She does love catnip and overcomes her shyness as she plays with her catnip toys and you.

Vanilla will be a loving feline companion once she finds the owner of her heart – could that be you? Come meet Vanilla and fall in love today!

You can meet Vanilla at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00am and 4:00pm (except holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.

If you are interested in adopting Vanilla, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
