Clayton's Story...
Meet Clayton- a very affectionate, cuddley shar-pei mix who will love you right away and give you kisses- and thinks he's a lap dog at 61 lbs. He is 2 yrs. old and has a short, soft, very nice wrinkley coat. He's full of love to give to someone who can appreciate all he has to offer. He's smart, well-behaved, housetrained, loves his chew toys, likes other dogs, and ignores cats. He could fit into many family situations. If you can offer Clayton a loving home, please fill out an Adoption Application at our site @ www.PeisandStrays.com. Clayton is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Please note that Clayton is located in a foster home in Vermont.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clayton, a Pawtucket Shar Pei/English Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/English Bulldog for sale in Pawtucket, or seeking a Shar Pei/English Bulldog dog from a breeder in Pawtucket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pawtucket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pawtucket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/English Bulldog breeders who help with Shar Pei/English Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pawtucket paves the way for another one to be saved.
