If you adopt Klondike, you are about to make a very important commitment that will change your life for the next 12 years or more. This is not a decision to be taken lightly or on impulse. Think carefully about how adopting Klondike will affect the lives of yourself and your family before you proceed. Animatch is the advocate and temporary guardian for each of our dogs and we do impose high standards for their welfare and happiness. We seek adoptive homes that share the same philosophy and have the same love, time, and desire to properly care for a dog. Klondike was at Animal Control since July; he was only six months old at the time he was given up. His family could probably not resist Klondike’s puppy cuteness, then six months later when no one had taken the time to train or exercise him; he was not so cute any more. They did what so many families resort to in order to “get rid” of the problem. They bring them to Animal Control so someone else can take over – no time, too much trouble! Klondike is making up for those important months when a puppy should be exercised, socialized, and trained to be all that he can be. Klondike has some catching up to do but with the help of the right family, we have no doubt that he is going to grow up to be an amazing fellow. This adolescent pup needs to be in a home where he is not alone the entire day. If you feel that you can offer Klondike the home he so deserves, please fill in the Adoption Form.
