Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet sweet Milo! Milo is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. We think that he is between 8 and 10 months old. He's on the smaller side as he is only about 40 pounds.
Milo came to us through a family that adopted another one of our "Shelter Survivors." The family was in their yard raking leaves, when this sweet baby boy came bouncing up to them. He did not have a collar on him. He sat down, watched them rake, and had no intention of leaving. They couldn't resist his sweet little face, so they decided give him a little love (because who can resist that sweet squishy face?) and then that they would walk him around the area to see if anyone lost their dog. After driving around with him all day, contacting the police, the local shelters, as well as the local veterinary offices, and having him scanned for a microchip; there were no leads on who this little fellow belonged to. No one seemed to be looking for this little guy. We think he was intentionally abandoned. Luckily he found a foster family that wants the best for this sweet boy~ a home to call his own with people that will love him forever.
Milo has proven to be a great pup! He greets men, women, and children with lots of wiggles and wags. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is also cat friendly! He is still a puppy, so he needs time to get that puppy energy out. A nice game of fetch and walks would be great for him. He loves playing with toys and chewing his bones and antlers. He's a very smart boy too! He quickly learned how to sit for a treat and before he eats his meals. He doesn't mind spending time relaxing in his crate. He walks like a gentleman on the leash. He loves going for car rides too! But his favorite thing to do is cuddle with his foster mom. Really... Milo is up for anything, as long as he knows that you are happy with him. He is definitely a people-pleaser. Let's give Milo what he deserves... a family that is going to love him for the rest of his life.
If you would like to provide Milo with the stable and loving home that he deserves, please fill out an application and come meet him at our next adoption day event. He's got plenty of wiggles and wags stored up for you!
Milo is up to date with his shots, neutered, and housetrained.
