My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There I was...in the shelter in Louisiana...only knowing that my owner could not keep me and brought me there. All of the staff at the shelter loved me, and I did get plenty of attention. You know, though, that the shelter is not a home. I need a family, who would play with me and through balls for me to retrieve. I am not high-energy at all, but do love to run around in the yard! I am only around 1 year old, and weigh just under 40 pounds. I was very thin when I was brought to the shelter, but have gained since. I was lonely there and one day, the welcome sight of a rescue lady came into view. She helped care for me, vetted me, then helped to get me on a transport to Rhode Island, to s licensed, Category A rescue called Little Paws 4 U. I am here now, waiting for a home. I would love a family which is around in the day, as I have been lonely and never want to be, ever again. A family with another, non-aggressive dog would be fine and with older, respectful (only) children would be fine as well. My fee of 395. covers transport to RI, all vetting to date, a Health Certificate, spaying, a Heartworm test (negative) and I have my own blanket and collar as well.
