Alice's Story...
Can a face be any sweeter than this of Alice? This poor girl has suffered an injury that makes her drag her back leg. It could be spinal but with out xrays , it's a guess she is not in pain, but just does not move around like perfect cats. We all know how wonderful and rewarding it can be to be with an animal who has special needs. they know you have saved them. Alice will need to be rescued but if you would like to adopt her, we can arrange for her to go to a rescue, and then you can adopt her through them. She is just a little over a year old. We hope you will find her worthy of a visit.. She is very good with the other cats and kittens here in the adoption center .
the shelter is located at 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 4125. Open M-SAt; 11 to 4:30. .. Please hurry and help her.. thank you !

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Lincolnton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
