Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Once upon a time there was a dog that had beautiful Lab mix puppies when she really should not have ever been pregnant. It is a sad thing that happens
in her part of the world and when the puppies are born sometimes the people
don’t give them good lives at all as they grow up. Lily Ann is part of a litter of Lab mix puppies that grew up in squalor and filth and despite this harsh beginning she is still a loving and accepting soul. This pretty little girl grew up with 9 siblings who fought and scrapped to get something to eat and for someplace to lay that was clean. The litter was rescued a day after a monsoon had created a kennel full of mud and water which they laid in with no hope of having a clean bed one day. But that day finally came when the rescue ladies came to take photos and make the plea for help for the litter. They were whisked away and labeled the "Mud Puppies". Foster homes were waiting for them and soon they were cleaned up and given the love, good food and care that they deserved from the start. Lily Ann was born around 7/29/14 and is a beauty to behold. She is 4 1/2 months old and weighs 21 labs. She interacts very well with other foster dogs in her home. She loves to play and frolic in the fenced yard and has all the puppy energy in the world. She is also housetrained due to her quick learning skills and desire to truly learn new things in life. She eats well and loves to be cuddled and loved by her human caregivers. She takes well to playing with children and will be an ideal family companion now that she is healthy and happy and willing to embrace the next happy chapter in her promising future.
