Spice is a female Shih Tzu mix approximately 2 years in age. She is a chunky monkey, weighing in at 14 pounds full grown. Spice is a beautiful, sassy little girl with a pretty tri-color coat. Her markings are gorgeous and her coat is non-shedding. Spice has been professionally groomed and currently has a very short haircut due to severe matting and neglect upon her arrival to the rescue. She was one of the most matted, uncared for little dogs we have ever seen. When her beautiful coat grows back, she will be truly stunning to look at. Poor Spice definitely deserves better. She gets all A's for personality. She is very friendly, outgoing, affectionate, and social. She is a little party girl and likes to be included in anything and everything. Spice is smart and alert, catching on to new commands and the ways of the household with ease. She is great with other dogs, good with children, good with cats, and excellent in public. You can take her anywhere and feel confident that she will behave herself like a little lady. Spice loves being held and will tuck her head underneath your chin, snuggling up into your neck. She will even make contented little baby noises that will melt your heart and make you love her all the more. Spice is learning how to walk on leash and prefers a harness rather than a leash attached directly to her collar. Spice was brought in stray to a very high volume/high kill shelter where we rescued her. She is going to make an outstanding pet and companion. Spice is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!
Spice’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
