My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet little boy was found after being attacked by some larger dogs at a park. We named him Boo Bernardi after a wonderful adopter and donator to our organization. The people who found him turned him into a city pound and high kill shelter. Since he was injured, he shot to the top of the euthanasia list. Of course we pulled him. Once at the vet, it was discovered that he had some pretty bad bite marks all over him. After doing some x rays, the vet felt he might have a slight fracture to his leg which is still a little sensitive. He has healed really well and is just the sweetest little dog. It may be a little painful if you pick him up wrong, but otherwise he is in great health, and his leg will eventually heal with time. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, and understandably so, but warms up once he knows he is safe and you are ok !! He loves to sit outside in the sun on the picnic table when it is warm. He looks like an adorable little elf!! Boo is approx 13 months old and 12 lbs. We think he looks like a Norwich terrier mix. He has done pretty well on the house training and walks well on a harness which is better for his neck than a leash..
