Keegan's Story...
Now this is one adorable puppy. Keegan is an eight week old Italian Greyhound/ cattledog mix puppy with the sweetest disposition. This breed mix should make a great family pet - gentle and loving and very intelligent. Keegan currently weighs 8.4 and we expect him to be a medium size dog when fully grown. His father the greyhound weighed 21 pounds and his mother weighed just 38. Both are very sweet, social dogs. He has been started on his vaccinations and wormed; he is a very healthy puppy. If you are considering an addition to your family Keegan would be an excellent choice.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keegan, a Bartonsville Italian Greyhound/Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Cattle Dog for sale in Bartonsville, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Bartonsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bartonsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bartonsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bartonsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
