George's Story...
Please meet George. George is a 1 1/2 year old yellow lab mix and is as sweet as they come. He was brought into the shelter, along with his sister (who we also rescued) as a stray. George has been living in a foster home for the past few weeks and is doing wonderful. He is dog friendly, kid friendly and great on leash. His foster says he is 100% trustworthy to be left out in the house when she's not home - he doesn't chew up anything or have accidents. So what you're looking at here is a completely trained, good on leash, kid loving, dog loving, snuggly, tail wagging lovely lab.

George's adoption fee is $400 and will include his vaccinations, neuter, microchip, health certificate and transportation from Memphis to Wisconsin. Please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application for sweet George.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

George, a Greenfield Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
