Hello there, I’m Rudy, nice to meet you! I’m a younger boy, and best guessed to be a “chugle” (Chihuahua/pug/beagle) . You might appreciate that I am a shy fella, and a complete gentleman. I know how to sit pretty, lay down, give hugs, give kisses, come when I am called, and I am working on “roll –over”. It is exciting to learn that one, but I get excited and just try to be cute and get belly rubs. It works most of the time too!
I LOVE to bounce around outside. I actually got my name from a Christmas Song. I kept trying to play reindeer games with the other foster dogs, but no one would join. That, and my heart is so big – you would even say it *glows* with love. It doesn’t take me long to make new human friends, and my friends here at NBS Animal Rescue said that there just might be a home out there for me!
I would love to have a family of my own. Did I mention I am crate trained, AND am on the Nice List because I am doing so awesome with potty training? Oh yeah, and I am nice to the cat and great with other dogs and kids. I really like anyone who will take the time to be kind to me. Yep, for the first time in a long time I am learning what it is like to just be loved. I sure hope I can find a home of my own. I promise to always wag my tail when I see you, and bounce with excitement when you come home. Please consider a fella like me. I really would love a home for the holidays.

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
