Sally's Story...
Greetings sugars! My name is Sally, what’s yours? I’m a sassy 2 year-old Rottweiler looking for a mate to share my life with. I thought I was set for life with my previous family, however, unfortunately, living a doggy life is filled with broken promises. After my mommy had surgery she abandoned me because she could no longer care for me. I would be much obliged if you would be a kind soul and take me home. I do have a slight attachment to food but I listen very well to correction. For this reason I’d like to have an experienced doggy guardian to guide me in the right direction & eliminate this behavior. I think it would be best to live with older kids as well. I am a totally affectionate cuddle bunny who kisses like an angel! I know my sit command & will take treats from your fingers ever so gently. I would blossom even more with positive training, for I’m a dominant lass but not all that confidant. Won’t you please save me from this life? Hold me like you’ll never let me go!

Act quickly to adopt Sally. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Huntington Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
