Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m an older guy. About 10 years old, so they say. I’m a big, healthy, Maine Coon. All I know is, for some reason, I was taken from my home and put in a shelter. Then one day I was rescued and put in a foster home with lots of other little kittens, whom I love to watch romp and play. I am still a little scared of my foster mom. When she finds me in my hiding spot, I let her pet me, I purr, I let her carry me around, but I just won’t go exploring the house to find her yet. I like to hide and I don’t really like to leave my special room she made for me… yet. But I don’t hiss, I don’t bite, and I can’t scratch because I don’t have ANY claws (all four paws are powder puffs; which means I need to be brushed a lot). I love the tallest perch of the cat tree and I like to lie in the sun. I really want a home where I won’t have to run and hide from dogs or small children, although I wouldn’t ever cause them any harm, I will just hide. It will take me a while to get used to this new life. I’m not sure how I got here and I am not sure what to make of it. I want to live out the rest of my years in a quiet home, with someone who has the patience and love for an old guy like me. If you would like to meet me, I am fostered in Huntsville, AL, and if you have any questions please email info@forrescue.net.
