My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lilly is an athletic and sweet 10 month old, tri-color female Shepard/Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix. She is between 40 and 50 lbs.

Some Samaritans witnessed Lilly and her four sister siblings being dumped out of a truck in a neighborhood near a military base when they were 3 months old. The Samaritans quickly worked for two days to put the scared five litter mates back together in a safe place.

Lilly is an excellent companion dog that is looking to join you on your daily runs or hikes.  She is a high energy dog with a dominant and adventurous personality.  She will be the first to announce the presence of another dog or person. She is very smart and treat driven.  She knows the commands "sit , bed and come". She is crate and house trained.  She is still learning to to walk nicely on a leash.

Lilly will do best in an active and calm family where she has a dog companion that is not dominant and where she will get daily walks, hikes or runs. Also, she will require continued basic obedience and doggy socialization training and activities to keep her mentally stimulated.  Once she matures and masters all her obedience commands she may enjoy doing agility training.

L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.

All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.
