Calvin's Story...
Name: Calvin
Breed: Lab cross
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Calvin is a young adult male Lab cross, a medium size dog who is a total sucker for attention. He absolutely adores children and is patient, gentle, and friendly towards kids of all ages, as well as makes instant friends with other dogs. He's just a very happy, outgoing, lovable dog. Calvin enjoys nothing more in life than walks, belly rubs (we guarantee he'll offer his belly within 5 minutes of meeting you), and showing his devotion to people. He is fostered with cats, kids and dogs, and does well with everyone. He's playful but not wild, friendly while still being polite. Calvin was formerly an unclaimed stray and some fool lost a real treasure with him, only to be a wise person's gain.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin, a Minneapolis Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
