My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION PENDING ~ Hi! My name is Teddy, I'm 7 months old. . My foster mom says I am SUCH A GOOD BOY. I like other dogs, cats, belly rubs, and… chickens. Yep, who knew chickens were so likable! Foster mom says I’m ALL LEGS so that makes playing fetch so much fun. I’ll follow you around the house and help any way I can. Kitchen helper, laundry stealer, bathroom buddy. I’ll guarantee you’ve never had so much fun trying to put your socks on! FM says I’m a fun little shadow. And when you sit down, I’ll cuddle and keep your lap warm (for a belly rub). I don’t mind hanging out in my crate when I have to, and I’m quickly learning how to say when I have to go outside for ‘business.’ Foster Mom says I need to learn patience around food. She feeds me SLOWLY. How rude. I wanna gobble every last bite, BUT I go along with it to make her happy. Have I mentioned belly rubs? Wow, they’re great.

A note from foster mom: Teddy really is a great puppy, he fits in easily with our other dogs and loves being around people. Typically puppy behavior in that he wants to play bite, but he’s learning better manners. He does have some aggression issues with food. So, we’ve learned to hold him back and I hand feed him 1/2 his food piece by piece to teach patience. Then when he’s eating from his bowl I keep interrupting him to slow him down. We’re seeing improvement so that’s good.

Teddy is up to date on all of his shots as well as house and crate trained. If your interested in providing Teddy his forever home, please complete an adoption application http://www.ppsnrescue.org/adoptapp/
