Patches a little boy angel!'s Story...
Patches, dear dear Patches. What a story he has and truly just needs a home where he can play, and kiss everyone! The police had 27 calls from neighbors saying these people had a dog locked up in a tiny cage in their back yard, and the baby cried all the time, finally a police office showed up, and found our baby, no food, scared, cold, and locked in a cage, he was 10 months old! The shelter did not want to put him in another cage, so I drove down there immediately and got him. The first night as he was held by us in our bed, he would touch us, kiss us, then jump away, by morning he was just switching from me to my husband, and loving his new life. He also ate SEVEN bowls of food that first day, his bones were horrifying, he was starving, but not anymore. He is such a love, he does have to lay under the blankets with you, and he kissed you, well, really more like he gives you a bath, before he can curl up in your body and rest his soul. We love him dearly, he is a keeper, but we do rescue, and there are many other dogs who will die if we can't get them, so we need YOU to adopt him and give the real life he so deserves and needs. He loves all other dogs, kids and just jumps in everyones arms. He is a perfect family dog.
