Alvin's Story...
Introducing 10 of the most awesome puppies ever. There are 7 little girls and 3 little boys - Anna, Amber, Allie, Abbie, Ashley, Alexis, Angie, Allen, Andy and last but not least Alvin. The puppies are now 9 weeks old and ready to go to their new homes. How they found themselves in that horrible shelter, we don't know, but they were probably dumped there because someone did not want to be responsible for them. What absolute bundles of preciousness are they! All are very healthy, robust and happy pups. They are well socialize and have the greatest time playing all those puppy games. They are all full of cuddles, puppy kisses, happiness and love. Each puppy is up to date with vaccinations for their age and are micro-chipped. If you would like to brighten you life and make a home for one of these awesome babies, please complete the online application and indicate which puppy pulls at your heartstrings in the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
