Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shirley is a 6 year old, Basset Hound that was taken to a high kill shelter because her previous owners thought she was a COW killer. This girl is definitely not a cow killer. What part of TOO short and not effective in killing a cow does someone have to understand? But then again, people will sometimes look for any excuse to give a shelter worker when dropping a dog off for a more than likely terrible fate. Never again will this girl have to face the prospect of death at a shelter. True to her breed, Shirley is the fun girl in her foster home. She keeps her foster mom and dad laughing all of the time. She loves to be the center of attention. Shirley plays well with the other foster dogs, loves the cat and is great with children. She is also an excellent alarm clock every morning. When she gets up she is ready to go, and wants everyone to know it is time to meet the day; RISE AND SHINE! Shirley is a beautiful, sweet and funny girl who is looking for her forever home where she can be the center of attention. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
