Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there. My name is Annie. I'm about 1 1/2 years old and I weigh about 25 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Hanoverton area with my friend (possibly even my brother) Avery. He was just running around in the woods, but I couldn't really go anywhere... because my foot/leg got caught up in a coyote snare!! Thankfully someone came along and found me before it was too late. He took me to their house and kept me in the garage until they were able to get in contact with the pound. After they talked to someone, they brought us out to the pound.
Avery and I are the sweetest little beagles you could ever imagine. I'm very social and friendly. It doesn't appear that I've been kept outside as a hunting dog which is the fate of so many beagles in this area. We seem to have been particularly well cared for. I'm clean and I don't have accidents when I am in the office and Avery and I keep our kennel clean at night (we get to share a kennel). I love people and I get along well with all of the other dogs here at the pound.
If you're looking for a super sweet little beagle to add to your family, please consider adopting me!
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT%9D. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 4, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
