Bonnie's Story...
These Beautiful Babies are now old enough to go to their forever homes. They are 7 weeks old at the time of these pictures and their mom is a beautiful, sweet smaller chocolate Lab. All puppies are healthy, robust and happy. There are 4 boys - Bobbie, Brice, Bernie, Brolin and 4 girls - Bonnie, Babs, Berta and Bella. These pups are all thriving and enjoying just being puppies. They don’t have a care in the world right now, except when is it time to eat, is it time for a nap, ouch - someone is pulling on my ear, who took that squeaky toy – just typical little puppy things. All have the sweetest little faces and love to be picked up and hugged and cuddled and talked to. And did I mention all those puppy kisses? They are all just a great big bundle of love. These beautiful babies are up to date on vaccinations for their age and micro-chipped. They are great little puppies looking for a loving, caring family to call their own. If you think your family can give any one of these beautiful pups the love and nurturing that they need and deserve, indicate them in the notes section of the online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
