We can't be sure whether or not Biscuit is a purebred Shih Tzu or what he might be mixed with, but when you're only 8 pounds and this cute does it really matter?!?! It's easy to imagine how hard it was for his family to give him up when they realized they couldn't keep him -- not because he's so adorable, but because he is so sweet, extremely friendly and very affectionate!!! Biscuit had been wandering as a stray, well-groomed and super friendly. A kind family took him in, searched for months to see if they could find his owners but no one ever stepped forward. With 5 dogs of their own, plus a family of children, they knew they could not afford to keep Biscuit so, through tears, they brought him to a rescue so that we could find him the perfect home who will always keep track of him. Biscuit is such a happy boy! He smiles in the sweetest way and loves being held, but please make sure you also have your share of toys and balls to toss because he LOVES to play Fetch!! He also loves playing with the other dogs (and cat) in his foster home so we know he'll be a great playmate if there's anyone else in the home to play with! Biscuit is about 2 years old, he weighs about 8 pounds possibly with another to gain, he has a gorgeous white-and-tan coat and he is very healthy!
