Finn's Story...
Meet Finn! He is a cuddly, sweet (and compact!) beagle mix. Finn loves peanut butter treats, ear rubs, naps, and sniffing! We love his cute beagle face, large ears, and tan speckled feet. Finn has a very sweet, playful disposition and will always greet you with a wagging tail. He’s about three years old and around 20 lbs. A perfect day for Finn includes a big breakfast, playing in the backyard with his foster dog brother, and then a long nap on the couch or in your lap before another round of play. Finn is housebroken and crate trained. He is learning his basic commands such as sit, stay, and come. We're working on his walking skills as he is still a little timid, but improves with each walk. He gets along well with children and other dogs, but hasn't had much interaction with cats. We're confident that he would be very sweet after the initial excitement and curiosity!

Finn is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but he is not picky about where he ends up as long as he is loved.

He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention and flea prevention. If you’d like more information please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finn, a Huntsville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
