Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birch is a middle aged guy looking for a loving home! Need someone to cuddle with at night? He's got you covered! Need a dog that won't potty in the house, that's him! Want one that will play with you but knows how to chill? Just call his name! Birch's only baggage is his past injuries. He is going to need to have his knees monitored for luxating patellas. He has had one prepared and may need the other one done later in life, but for now he is running, jumping, and playing. Birch is good with dogs, cats, and kids but with his injuries we'd like to see him placed in a home with no young children and no big or high energy dogs. His favorite things are small dogs and cats! He is housetrained, crate trained, and has the most gentle sweet spirit! He doesn't need to have a fenced in yard, leash walks are fine for him! If he does have a backyard he needs to not have a doggy door and the fence needs to be secured as he enjoys visiting the neighbors :) You would be truly getting a gem with this dog. If you'd like to discuss adopting Birch then please email us and we'll answer any questions that you have. Email info@FORrescue.net
**Birch can only be adopted to the Huntsville and surrounding areas as he will have follow up appointments and all vet expenses will be paid by Friends of Rescue**
