Here's what the humans have to say about me:
THESE SWEET DOGS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE!
UPDATE: We have made the decision to keep Rose and Bud together if at all possible. They have been placed in a foster home that may consider both dogs. More info will be posted soon. Thank You to everyone that applied!
Blizzard and Bart have adoptions pending.
We have 4 Maltese cross pups for adoption. Three males and one female. They are 4 months old and came from CCARRS (Cariboo Companion Animal Rescue and Rehab Society) in 100 Mile House (a wonderful rescue that rescues many dogs and cats in need in the Cariboo region).
Pups will be spayed/neutered in mid December before they are adopted out. They are fully vaccinated and dewormed.
The mother of these pups was a victim of a small puppy mill in the Cariboo. Her breeders discarded her like trash as she wasn't producing enough puppies. She was pregnant when she arrived at CCARRS but was so skinny it was hard to believe she was about to give birth. The mother dog is now spayed and will be looking for a home of her own soon. She is currently in 100 Mile House.
We are looking for homes within the Vancouver Lower Mainland for her pups and will not be adopted in pairs. Detached homes with secure yards are best as these little ones can be vocal when startled or unsure. Their mother (second photo) is very timid which is no surprise considering she was a mill dog. With time they will learn to settle and trust.
Application, references and home-visit apply. Visit our website at crossourpawsrescue.com for further details about us and our adoption process. An application can be downloaded directly off the WS. In order to cover all of CCARRS vet bills (including the mother) their adoption donation fee request is $495.
