Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meet and greets until the application is approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and friends, and we thank you in advance for your patience.
Meet Ranger, Born 10-18-14 and arrived into the rescue with siblings and mom who were found abandoned in the backyard of an empty house in Southern Illinois. Mom was very emaciated. Mom gave everything she had to the pups. Some good TLC from the foster, and lots of puppy, within weeks mom was at a great weight and pups very healthy. Mom weighs about 30 pounds and we suspect the pups will be 30 and under given her current weights ranging from 4-7.5 pounds. Mom clearly has some Beagle in her and possibly some terrier. She is a very sweet laid back lady and I'm sure her pups will grow up to be the same. Dad well he was a traveling salesman, and have no idea who he is.
These pups can go to their forever homes when they are 8 weeks old on December 13. We are taking applications now, and you can meet them and put a deposit down if you choose to adopt. We can't hold animals until Christmas and all members of the family need to be present in order to adopt.
Ranger, Lilly, Scout, Shadow, Daisy, and Buddy are all siblings and all being fostered together in a South Naperville home around other dogs, kids who all the pups are great with. There are also cats, but given the cats don't like being around a barrel of pups, we aren't sure how they are with felines, but I would guess growing up with a feline they would be fine.

An approved adoption application is required prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. We do not have a physical building for you to visit thus the reason an application is required prior to making an appointment. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: This pup now comes with 30 free pet insurance, the Spaying/Neutering which will be done when the pup is old enough and paid for by the rescue if through one of our participating vets, microchip, DHPP vaccination, dewormed with panacur, treated with revolution leash and collar.
You will also receive a free office visit to one of our participating vets for a free health exam. Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
