My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tucker! Tucker is a very active 10 month old neutered male West Highland Terrier. Tucker is doing well in
obedience class and, in true terrier spirit, he is inquisitive and wants to investigate everything. A fenced in yard is
required to keep him safe, as chasing after things is a fun game for him. He is house trained and is doing well on walks.
Tucker would do well in a home with older children, (12 and up) and another playful, friendly dog. Tucker will not do well with a cat in the household. When a fun filled active day comes to a close Tucker loves to cuddle up and snuggle with his people.

If you would like more information on Tucker please contact GLWR at westierescue@mchsi.com or submit an application at www.glwrescue.org.
*Please familiarize yourself with the Westie breed to be certain these terriers are a good match for your family. Westies are "indoor" pets.
*We do not ship Westies. Transport options are available.
*Adopters should understand that our Westies come from varied, and sometimes difficult, backgrounds and will need an adjustment period to settle into their new home.
*Additional training may be required and is always recommended.
*GLWR, Inc. requires a completed application ( available online at www.glwrescue.org ), personal references, a vet reference, and a home visit.
*GLWR is an all volunteer non-profit corporation, an adoption donation of $300.00 helps support our rescue program.
