Rodney's Story...
Rodney had a tough start born outside to a cat hoarder, he was found with a bad upper respiratory infection, matted and infected eyes and covered in fleas and mud. He and eleven others rescued from that plight wouldn't have lived long. As fate would have it they were rescued from this existence from a kind and generous cat lover who fostered the group and nursed them back to health. Rodney still carries a war wound from that rough beginning. His left eye has a slight scarring, but he can see and does not need to be on medication. He is a beautiful long haired tabby with a silky fur, a bushy tail and fluffy mane reminiscent of the Maine Coon breed. He is playful and curious, but also a gentle and loving lap cat who loves attention. He gets along well with other cats. He was born in April 2014 and is now healthy and waiting his forever home. Rodney is FeLV negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, neutered, and litter trained. If you may be interested in adopting Rodney please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rodney, a Bloomsburg Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
