VELMA's Story...
Velma is a sweet little 8 month old girl who loves to play. She is curious about everything but not in a high energy way. She settles nicely in her kennel at night, she loves to explore the yard but more than that she loves to give kisses and be right by your side. Velma loves to play with other dogs but doesn't need one to be happy as long as she has her person right by her side. Velma is kennel trained and house trained. She would make the perfect companion. She likes to ride in the car and has discovered how much fun toys can be. For an adoption application on Velma, please email Blues City Animal rescue at baversa1@gmail.com. Her adoption fee of 450.00 includes her up to date vaccinations, her health travel certificate and her transport to her new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

VELMA, a KITTERY Corgi/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in KITTERY, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in KITTERY.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in KITTERY already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a KITTERY breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in KITTERY paves the way for another one to be saved.
