Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RAVEN is a 7 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 89 pounds but should lose some weight. She was given up by her owner because of foreclosure and was a well loved and affectionate girl who is now looking for her new family. Her coat was very clean and shiny and she is a happy girl who likes to fetch and enjoys playing with other dogs. Raven is house and crate trained but she no longer needs a crate. She pulls on lead so will need an Easy Walk harness. She knows basic commands such as sit, down and come. Raven is a great snuggler and loves to give kisses.
Raven is approved for kids ages 10+
Update (01/09): Raven is doing very well and is truly ready for her forever home. She is a wonderful dog. Raven has slimmed down considerably. We believe she is now under 80 lbs. When we picked her up she was overweight and resembled a Tootsie Roll. Now she has a girlish figure and her face has thinned out. She is a good looking dog. Raven is a kisser and a snuggler who only wants to please. Her greetings after a long day’s work and her kisses are priceless. She recently accompanied her fosters on a trip to Rehoboth Beach and Raven had a blast at the beach. She ran to the waves, but ran back quickly. She was a little unsure but she followed her foster sibling in her up to her ankles and had a great time running around

She is a great dog and would love to get into her forever home soon.
Update (12/29): Raven is doing very well in her foster home. She is healthy and now weighs 83 lbs., a loss of 6 pounds. She looks great and her coat is very shiny and soft. She has also recently started to fetch. Just yesterday she returned 5 balls. Although she gets along well with the resident dogs, she will likely do best in a home where she can be the center of attention. She stays with her fosters in the yard, and does well on a leash. To whichever lucky family will be her forever family, she loves to give kisses and be by your side.
