Sammy's Story...
This is Sammy...he is Franky's partner in crime. A yellow-eyed polydactyl, Sammy loves a good tummy/chest scratch as much as his tiger-striped brother. They are also brother to Petey and Joey and their mother is Lucy. Sammy gets along very well with children and other pets.
There is an adoption fee of $100. All of our cats and kittens are vaccinated for FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies. They are wormed, and microchipped by us. When it's time, we take care of the spay or neuter. They come with a 2-week health guarantee, during which time any illness or parasite problem that may have been incubating will be handled by Blue's Mews through their cooperating veterinarians.
We take back any cat or kitten; if it is returned within 2 weeks, your adoption fee will be refunded although we think you'll fall in love and never want to let them go!
A selection of our kittens and cats may be seen every weekend at Pet Supplies Plus in Beavercreek and Kettering from 1 to 6 on Saturdays and 1 to 5 on Sundays. For more information, please text 937-271-1411 or email cat_rescue@earthlink.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Fairborn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
