Lovey's Story...
Lovey is a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel mix who weighs about 20 pounds. She is a sweet girl who loves toys and to cuddle with her people. She's a petite 20 pounds and would love a family to call her own for the holidays. She is currently being crate trained.
She has been seen by a vet and deemed healthy to his/her knowledge and is current on all vaccines, has been microchipped and altered.
An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.
The adoption application is available at http://www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to molly@hope4paws.com
The adoption fee of $300 covers all vetting expenses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovey, a Plainfield Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
