Elvis's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Elvis's Story...
Explosive Curb Appeal! How could you not stop and want to "shop" and meet this wonderful fellow?? Elvis certainly delivers with his super handsome black and white jacket and friendly inviting smile, but is also easily able to offer YOU the complete pet package with his softly affectionate, cuddly ways! A super skilled tail wagger, hugger and kisser, while his namesake MIGHT have wanted to take center stage and blow you away, our Elvis is pretty low key, polite and has a warm, gentle aura about him. Nicely interacting with other dogs, Elvis would be in his element surrounded by kids and other dogs but no cats, please! Elvis is not looking to make another Platinum album but simply hoping to find a family to care for and love on. 3-4 yrs old; heartworm positive

Act quickly to adopt Elvis. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis, a Darlington Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
