My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Knuks and I once had a wonderful home with my owner, however something happened and I found myself with new owners and the next thing I know is that I’m homeless on the streets. I searched and searched hoping to find my first owner, but the more I searched the more lost I became. Not sure how long it was until I finally found a place where I knew I would be safe and cared for. This special place was Animal House in Jacksonville where I used to go to play time some time ago. Animal House did contact my last owner and told him I was there but he never came for me. The folks at Animal House know what a wonderful girl I am, so friendly and loving, fully vetted, heart-worm negative and I know basic commands. I am so grateful to be in their care as I had lost 22 pounds and have quite a few scars on my legs, but no worries now, as I have regained my weight and now my eyes shine as bright as my coat. When I’m outside they think I’m playing, but I am really dancing, as I am so happy to be able to be warm, fed and loved, and you should see my toys!
