My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Simon is a four year old solid black male DSH. He came to us when he was found with a missing a leg (our vet believes that he most likely lost his leg in a coyote attack). Worried about infection, we quickly took him in to give him the care he needed and a safe place to recover. He has now fully recovered and we are happy to say that having three legs does not stop him! He jumps on the cat tree and can do everything our other kitties do. He is a medium-large sized cat and weighs around 12 lbs.

Simon is quite shy around people and needs an adopter who is willing to give him time and earn his love. He is just the sweetest boy and once he trusts you, he does enjoys your company. He is pretty low maintenance and prefers to lounge in his bed most of the day. He loves treats and is always happy to eat as many as possible. Simon is great with other cats and would be happy to have a companion. He would possibly be okay with a cat-friendly dog who will leave him be, though he is scared of them so playful dogs would be way too much for him. He is fully vetted (up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped). Simon would love to stay with his rescue friend, Mia. They have become close and they enjoy being together. Applicants willing to keep them together are preferred!
