Dean is a male Yorkshire Terrier mix approximately 2 years in age. He is small, currently weighing in at 8 pounds. He is a bit skinny from being stray and he should gain a few more pounds to reach his ideal weight of 12 pounds. Dean has pretty, soft gold and silver coloring with big brown eyes. His coat is low/non-shedding and easy to brush out and maintain. He has the funniest, most expressive ears with one standing straight up and the other flopping down. He is an adorable boy! Dean is a sensitive, soft-hearted young dog. He will give you his whole heart but you have to promise to take care of it and he will most likely bond closely to his family of trusted people. Dean has no doubt had a rough past and responds beautifully to gentle reassurance and a kind touch. He is playful and fun, enjoying any and all toys that come his way. He is not really a fan of chaotic, unpredictable environments. Once you have his trust, he will stick to you like glue and be the most loyal dog you have ever had. He solicits attention from his favorite people and loves to be petted and snuggled. Dean will trot around after you through the house and is great company. He likes to go for walks and is a good car rider. Dean is an intelligent dog and will learn rapidly, especially if there are tasty treats being offered. He was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. Dean is very healthy and ready for his new loving forever home today!
Dean’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Dean is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
