Michael Jack's Story...
Bonded pair - Michael and Lisa
Everyone remember Michael and Lisa (aka Krusty and Cutie)?? They were the 7 month old pitty babies that we pulled a few months ago. Both had severe mange and were in very bad shape. Look at them now!! They are ready for adoption and can't wait to find their forever home together. They are extremely bonded and separating them is not an option. They LOVE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING!! They live with another dog and a cat and are simply amazing!! This is what fostering does. Their foster mom Carolyn is wonderful and can't say enough about them.

If you or someone you know might be interested in sharing your home and heart with them, please let us know. They will brighten your life and make you smile everyday.....
If you are interested in adopting or fostering Michael or Lisa please fill out the appropriate application found under the Adopt menu on our website at savingpawsrescue.org or if you have any questions email us at info@savingpawsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michael Jack, a Rye Brook Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Rye Brook, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Rye Brook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rye Brook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rye Brook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rye Brook paves the way for another one to be saved.
