Scotch's Story...
Scotch is a little 1 year old chiweenie that was hit by a car and left on the side of the road. He had surgery to be neutered and have a hernia repaired and then the surgeon found that his bladder had been damaged from the trauma. He had a piece of his bladder removed and now he is recovering and healing up nicely! He is a little 13 lbs guy that is fully vetted and ready to go home soon. He is extremely sweet and has an amazing personality. The whole entire vet office staff fell in love while he stayed there and he became the office star. Everyone who meets him falls in love. Truly a little gem! He is dog friendly too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotch, a Miami Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Miami, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
