My name is Michelle.
I was born around January 2014, so I am still quite young. I was outside in the cold, and I am so happy to be in a place that is warm. Last winter was sooo cold! I am delighted to have a constant supply of food. Living on the streets without a caretaker was hard.

Though I've lived outside, I am very friendly once I get to know you. I run over to greet my foster mom when she comes in the room. I jump on the chest of drawers and we rub our faces together. I love to sleep with my foster mom. I am very afraid at Petco and frequently growl at people because Petco and all the noises, smells and strangers upset me. I have been going there for a year, but no one will adopt me because I don't show very well at all.

If someone would foster to adopt me and give me some time to show my true personality then I could find a home. Do you know someone with no small children and no other pets? I need to be a one and only. Would you pass my information around and post me on your facebook page? Please help me find a home!

I love to be petted and I have a big purr motor. I would do best with a single older person or a couple. I am fully vetted and only cost only $30! My adoption fee has been sponsored so I don't cost much.

You can meet me at Petco on most Saturdays and Sundays at the Petco in California. You can also fill out an application at and email it to
Love always, Michelle

About Feral Cat Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Feral Cat Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to humanely reducing the feral and stray cat population in St. Mary’s County through a variety of methods without euthanasia. With our Trap-Neuter-Return program, feral cats are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated and sterilized by veterinarians. Healthy adults cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers or those people already feeding them. Under our adoption program, the kittens and tame young adult cats that are adoptable are temporarily placed with foster families until they can be permanently adopted into good homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoptions at our local Petco store every Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and most Saturdays from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Process:
1. Fill out an application online at and email it to or or fill out an application in person at the California MD Petco on Sundays between 11am and 3pm.
2. If approved, we make arrangements to bring the cat(s) to your home to meet with your family.
3. At that time, we give you the medical records and you sign the contract and pay the adoption fee which is tax deductible. Our adoption fees are $125 for a kitten and $75 for an adult cat.
4. When you sign the contract, you are promising to vet the cat yearly as well as sick visits. You also promise to give the cat back to Feral Cat Rescue if in the future, if you are no longer able to care for your cat(s). We do not want to see any cats turned over to the shelter or sent outside to fend for themselves.
