My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kali is a lovely, and loving little dog. She is very friendly with everyone including children of all ages. She is also good with other dogs of all sizes. She is currently being fostered at Home Alone Petsitters and enjoying her time with all her canine and human friends. Kali is a small approximately 1 1/2 - 2 years old and currently weighs 20 lbs. She will make a wonderful family pet or a single's companion. She would be good as a second dog in the home or as an only pet as long as she gets lots of time for fun and friends.

Here is what her foster family had to say:

Kali is a real sweetheart. When you pick her up she just loves to hug you. I am not sure what her breeding actually is but she has a very unique eye which looks like a marble with flecks of blue in it. Kali was a timid little girl when she first came to us but has totally come around and just loves all the attention she can get from anyone including children. She is a very social girl now and is good with dogs of all sizes. She is an active little thing but not to the point where she is hard to manage. Once she has had some exercise she is happy just to be with you. We have not had Kali around any cats but if needed we could have her cat tested.

When left on her own Kali is very good. She really loves her little bed and will just wait patiently for you to return. We do crate her but only at night for sleeping and she is fine with that. She is very quiet in the home and would likely be fine in an apartment as long as she got her daily walk. This little girl loves to run and play and she loves squirrel watching. She also loves the time she spends with people and really enjoys just being held and cuddled.

Kali is well behaved in the home and doesn't get into anything she shouldn't. She is learning her basic obedience and so far has learned "come" and "sit". She is completely house trained and trustworthy in the home. As mentioned above, we do use a crate for her at night to sleep in and has no problems. She seems to like her crate and treats it like her own little space. She is pretty good on the leash now and although she may pull a little at times, she is pretty small and easy to handle. She is really good in the car and enjoys going for car rides.

Kali is an affectionate, cuddly, fun, and cute little dog. I think she would easily fit into any family. She is a really nice size in that she is small enough to pick up and carry if needed but also sturdy enough to handle playing with children. I think she would need a few walks a day but once she settles in I think she'd rather bond with someone and just enjoy their company. Kali is a sweet little girl and has no issues. I believe she would make a family complete. Once you meet her you can't help but fall for her and all her cute characteristics.

If you would like to make Kali a part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.
