UPDATE FROM FOSTER:
MONA'S FOSTER FAMILY HAS FALLEN IN LOVE WITH HER!
They are doing a trial "foster-to-adopt", pending all goes well with the resident cat. :-)

Dog is temporarily located in Marin, CA but transport can be arranged for approved foster/adopter.
Miss Mona is a sweet pretty 2 year old gray and white pittie that Urgently needs a Foster so we can Save her from a high kill shelter – would you be that special someone to open your heart and home to help us save Mona?
Sadly Mona was surrendered to a rural high kill shelter by her owners because they said "she escapes the yard". The shelter tested her with people, other dogs, and even a chicken and she passed ALL the tests! When she arrived at the shelter she was a very friendly, happy girl and loved getting out of her kennel to see people.
However, as Mona realized her owners were not coming back for her, being in that scary shelter environment she became very "shell shocked" and frightened (but NOT fear aggressive). This darling girl needs to be in a loving home ASAP so she can regain her confidence and return back to being her wonderful sweet self again! She needs someone to show her love and who knows how to help her feel secure and overcome her fears.
Mona urgently needs a Foster home and ultimately a forever home, so if could you be that special person for her, please contact us for more information.
