Cotton's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cotton's Story...
Cotton's owner died very suddenly and a neighbour friend took her in so she could find her new forever home. She will sometimes want to try and go back to her old house, thinking her owner will be there for her. She is a sweet loving girl with plenty of love to give to a new family. She is about 6 years old and 70lbs. She has been wonderful in the home she is in right now till we can find her that special home just for her. She is a very loyal dog and would be a great family pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cotton, a Ashburn Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Ashburn, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Ashburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ashburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ashburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ashburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
